The robin is a migratory songbird of the thrush family. One of the most common birds in North America, it is known for its roguish temperament and brood parasitism, where a robin will drop one of its eggs into another bird's nest for that bird to take care of. Although at one time we offered these birds for adoption, their disruptive presence among the other artificial flocks has led us to discontinue them in the Shop. As an alternative, we recommend a similarly sized blue bird, or for a redder hue, a cardinal.
