Baseball is a sport where two teams of nine players take turns batting and catching. While batting, the player’s goal is to hit the ball and run between four bases in order to score a “run.” While catching, the teams’ goal is to either catch a ball having been hit by a player from the opposing team or to return a ball to a base before the opposing player arrives. These baseballs recount stories from fictional histories of the sport. Each ball is displayed in an acrylic case and accompanied by a description of its fictitious past.
A log cabin is a shelter constructed from logs. They are ideal for regions where their material, logs, are abundant but there are few or no mills to refine timber. Typically these dwellings are architecturally unsophisticated, however some higher-end log cabins have been designed. These Log Cabin kits, designed and fabricated in Oregon by Treehopper Toys, are miniaturized, unassembled versions of log cabins that are constructed using equally rudimentary design principals. Each set includes thirty-seven pieces decorated in rustic black with natural decals and include a cloth sack for easy transportation.

Each piece can be removed from the board and moved along its path, showing how it revolves around the sun. Useful for astronomical learning environments, planning interplanetary travel, or inventing a unique game. Crafted in a solid wooden frame.
In modern mapping, a topographic map is a type of map characterized by large-scale detail and quantitative representation of relief, using contour lines or physical protrusions. Noted for their detail and accuracy, they are based on topographical surveys performed on large scales by teams of surveyors. Tasked with outlining the basic limits and extent of our physical world, these maps alter and influence our conception of reality.
The robin is a migratory songbird of the thrush family. One of the most common birds in North America, it is known for its roguish temperament and brood parasitism, where a robin will drop one of its eggs into another bird's nest for that bird to take care of. Although at one time we offered these birds for adoption, their disruptive presence among the other artificial flocks has led us to discontinue them in the Shop. As an alternative, we recommend a similarly sized blue bird, or for a redder hue, a cardinal.
Using interlocking mesh that prevents prey from escaping, these carnivorous plants lure spiders, beetles and ants with alluring mucus before snapping shut and digesting them. Despite this vicious reputation, Venus Flytraps are delicate and require a very specific set of conditions to grow properly. Because of this they have become rare in the wild, and we recommend you purchase your flytraps from a licensed dealer. This is for your own safety as it is a felony to remove Venus Flytraps from their natural habitat, a 60-mile radius around Wilmington, North Carolina.
The heart is a lonely hunter. That's where the 4D Anatomical Heart comes in, which can be shared with friends and family. There are four flaps that open up to reveal the interior workings of the organ, just part of the full representation that is viewable in pieces but becomes hidden once put together. This is much like the metaphysical heart, which is often hidden until the surface is lifted to reveal what's beneath.
