A book discussion paired with a whiskey.
In March, attendees will be discussing Hanya Yanagihara's acclaimed novel A Little Life—finalist for both the National Book Award and the Man Booker Prize. The book follows four college classmates as they move through New York in search of fame and fortune. While their relationships, which are tinged by addiction, success and pride, deepen over the decades, the men are held together by their devotion to the brilliant, enigmatic Jude, a man scarred by an unspeakable childhood trauma.
The discussion will be complemented by a bourbon selected and provided by The Whiskey Attic. Attendees are expected to have read the book in advance.
Copies of A Little Life can be purchased in paperback at The Writer’s Block Book Shop.
