JOURNALISM 101

MONDAYS: MAY 9 & 16
FROM 6-7:00PM

For twelve students, ages 9–12

Clark Kent started writing news like this.

Sure, we can’t all wear a red a cape and save Lois Lane, but we can all learn to be as heroic as Superman’s alter ego—Clark Kent!

This workshop will explore basic journalistic principles and concepts, like reporting facts and sharing truth. Each student will interview another student and write a profile of them, and vice versa. At the workshop’s conclusion the profiles will be published in a small book.

This workshop is free of charge.

Register for this workshop here or by calling 702-550-6399.
